{"id":949,"date":"2010-06-20T17:11:20","date_gmt":"2010-06-20T17:11:20","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-12-05T05:23:13","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T05:23:13","slug":"trimmed-forward-spar-cover-att","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/2010\/06\/20\/trimmed-forward-spar-cover-att\/","title":{"rendered":"Trimmed Forward Spar Cover Attach Angles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Father&#8217;s Day everybody!<\/p>\n<p>I spent most of the day with family and some friends, but had a little chance to get out into the garage late tonight. \u00a0First up, I marked and cutout the notches in the outboard forward spar cover attach angles.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20100620\/IMG_8650.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_8650.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Next, I decided to try and bend the fuel lines that come in from the sides of the fuselage and connect to the fuel selector. \u00a0I knew I shouldn&#8217;t have started something like this at 11:30 at night. \u00a0I got the first piece mostly bent, then realized that I put one of the lines on the wrong mark on the bender and left one leg too long. \u00a0Attempting to fix it only fucked up the tube enough that I couldn&#8217;t get a sleeve to slide over it anymore. \u00a0I then took the only remaining piece of tubing I had and tried again. \u00a0After carefully measuring the bends, I proceeded to put one of the lines on the wrong god dammed mark on the bender again and left a different leg too long. \u00a0Holy fucking christ! \u00a0I was pretty pissed off by now. \u00a0I&#8217;m out of tubing and it&#8217;s expensive as shit to ship these 6&#8242; long pieces from Aircraft Spruce. \u00a0I don&#8217;t want to order just one piece either, because what&#8217;s the chance that I&#8217;ll bend the next two perfectly. \u00a0So this was probably a $50 fuck up tonight just because I was not thinking clearly. \u00a0I&#8217;m going to bed&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Father&#8217;s Day everybody!
