{"id":896,"date":"2010-09-12T17:11:19","date_gmt":"2010-09-12T17:11:19","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-12-06T05:18:42","modified_gmt":"2017-12-06T05:18:42","slug":"finished-drilling-canopy-frame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/2010\/09\/12\/finished-drilling-canopy-frame\/","title":{"rendered":"Finished Drilling Canopy Frame, Started Strut Mounts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finished drilling the end flanges of the reinforcement pieces and then disassembled the frame. \u00a0My buddy Andre stopped by and got most of this deburred.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20100912\/IMG_8909.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_8909.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>While he was working on that, I fabricated the forward strut mounting points from bar stock. \u00a0Somehow the center holes ended up drilling up slightly off-center, but this won&#8217;t matter as the aft attach points can easily be adjusted to make the struts the right length. \u00a0These were surprisingly time-consuming to make since their fabricated from raw stock. \u00a0They have to be cut to length, corners rounded, holes drilled and tapped. \u00a0There&#8217;s at least an hour of work in these two pieces.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20100912\/IMG_8908.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_8908.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I finished drilling the end flanges of the reinforcement pieces and then disassembled the frame. \u00a0My buddy Andre stopped by and got most of this deburred.
