{"id":827,"date":"2011-04-01T17:07:56","date_gmt":"2011-04-01T17:07:56","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-12-08T04:48:47","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T04:48:47","slug":"received-more-goodies-from-dyn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/2011\/04\/01\/received-more-goodies-from-dyn\/","title":{"rendered":"Received More Goodies from Dynon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got my transponder from Dynon. \u00a0I purchased the high-power, class 1\u00a0SV-XPNDR-261. \u00a0This thing is nice and tiny, but still puts out 250W of transmit power. \u00a0It also meets the full ADS-B out requirement when connected to a\u00a0TSO-C146A GPS (such as the Garmin GTN series that I&#8217;m going with). \u00a0It also displays TIS traffic on the SkyView which is handy around the areas I fly in.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110401\/IMG_9254.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9254.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I also received the ARINC-429 module. \u00a0This lets the SkyView interface fully with the Garmin GTN unit to get features like GPS steering for the autopilot, CDI autoscaling, and vertical guidance for approaches.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110401\/IMG_9255.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9255.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I also purchased a second SkyView Display Harness. \u00a0I decided to purchase this separately so I can hold off on purchasing the second display until just before flight. \u00a0I can move my single display between sides on the panel when building the overall harness. \u00a0You can also see that I purchased a second panel mount USB cable.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110401\/IMG_9258.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9258.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I also received a second battery for the right display. \u00a0I can go ahead and mount this and connect it to the right display harness.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110401\/IMG_9256.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9256.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I also picked up two 30&#8242;
