{"id":787,"date":"2011-05-30T17:07:55","date_gmt":"2011-05-30T17:07:55","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-12-08T06:56:35","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T06:56:35","slug":"replaced-flap-position-sensor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/2011\/05\/30\/replaced-flap-position-sensor\/","title":{"rendered":"Replaced Flap Position Sensor Wiring and Worked on Air Vent Bracket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since I had some extra trim servo cable, I replaced the three wires from the VP-X to the flap position sensor. \u00a0I&#8217;m trying to keep all wires color coded where possible and these were three wires that didn&#8217;t match up with the colors on the sensor.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110530\/IMG_9524.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9524.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center>Now the only wires that need to go up into the flap housing are the two flap motor power wires and the trim cable.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110530\/IMG_9525.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9525.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center>I also worked a bit on the air vent brackets. \u00a0I ended up just cutting these off straight across instead of stepping down. \u00a0I had Classic Aero Designs ship me the side panels so that I can cut them to fit snugly around these brackets since they&#8217;ll be shorter than stock.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110530\/IMG_9526.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9526.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since I had some extra trim servo cable, I replaced the three wires from the VP-X to the flap position sensor. \u00a0I&#8217;m trying to keep all wires color coded where possible and these were three wires that didn&#8217;t match up with the colors on the sensor.
