{"id":737,"date":"2011-09-12T17:04:30","date_gmt":"2011-09-12T17:04:30","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-12-09T07:05:57","modified_gmt":"2017-12-09T07:05:57","slug":"received-avionics-stack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/2011\/09\/12\/received-avionics-stack\/","title":{"rendered":"Received Avionics Stack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I picked up my avionics stack from <a href=\"http:\/\/aerialavionics.com\/\">Aerial Avionics<\/a> today. \u00a0They&#8217;re a local company, but they were willing to match a price quote from I got from Stark Avionics. \u00a0I got a PS Engineering PMA 8000BT audio panel and a Garmin GTN 635 GPS\/COM.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110912\/IMG_9689.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9689.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>They built the wiring harness as well. \u00a0I went through the whole thing so that I could fully understand all of the interconnects. \u00a0Other than installing an unnecessary marker beacon antenna cable (which I removed), everything looks perfect. \u00a0Despite what looks like a rats nest, these are nicely organized and grouped together according to where they need to be routed in the airplane. \u00a0The only mistake I made was forgetting to request that they use red wires for power and black for ground like I&#8217;ve done with all of the other avionics in the plane.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/rv7pictures\/Originals\/20110912\/IMG_9690.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jasonbeaver.com\/rv7\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/IMG_9690.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I picked up my avionics stack from Aerial Avionics today. \u00a0They&#8217;re a local company, but they were willing to match a price quote from I got from Stark Avionics. \u00a0I got a PS Engineering PMA 8000BT audio panel and a Garmin GTN 635 GPS\/COM.
